What is an open-air booth?
An open-air photo booth gets its name from what it doesn't have: walls. Where an old enclosed booth hides you inside a curtain, an open-air setup puts a DSLR camera and studio lighting in front of an open backdrop. The background is part of every shot, and up to 12 people fit in a single frame.
It became the standard for Vancouver weddings and corporate events for three reasons: it fits big groups, it shoots at true DSLR quality, and it turns the backdrop into a design feature instead of a hidden wall. It's the booth we're asked to bring more than any other.

What is an open-air photo booth?
A booth with no enclosing walls or curtain. A DSLR and studio lighting face an open backdrop so up to 12 people fit in one shot, and the backdrop is part of every photo. It's the most-booked style in Vancouver.
Is it accessible for guests with disabilities or mobility devices?
Yes. The step-free, no-enclosure design means there's no curtain to squeeze through and no platform to climb. Our attendant reframes for wheelchair users and seated guests, service animals are welcome, and the open layout fits strollers, canes, and walkers. Tell us your needs when you book.
How is it priced?
Pricing depends on your hours and any add-ons, with everything on this page included. Send us your date and venue and we'll send a quote, with free travel anywhere in Metro Vancouver.
Do guests get prints on the spot?
Yes. Every session prints instantly (two 2x6" strips or one 4x6" postcard), dry in about 10 seconds, and guests can also share digitally by QR code or email. Sessions are unlimited, and the Wedding Package adds unlimited printouts.
How much space does it need?
About 8 ft × 8 ft of clear floor plus a standard outlet within 20 feet. Working with less? Send us your floor plan and we'll confirm.
How far ahead should we book?
Peak season (May–October) book 2–3 months ahead; peak Saturdays 3–4 months. Off-season, 4–6 weeks. Nowruz, Diwali, Eid, and long weekends fill first.
